Building Representatives

1. First contact with Chapter members
2. Posting and distribution of association information (meeting agendas, minutes, notices)
3. Refer members to Chapter and OSEA resources (contact information, websites)
4. Attend Chapter meetings 
5. Let Chapter President know of any workplace issues

• Building Reps do not represent employees in disciplinary situations, but refer members to the Chapter President

• Training is available
• There may be more than one Building Rep at a location

If you need information or assistance, check with your Worksite Organizer.  If s/he doesn't have the answer, s/he will be able to point you in the right direction!

Each location may have more than one Worksite Organizer, in fact, the more the better!  If you are interested in becoming a Worksite Organizer, contact President Kathleen O'Brien.
