OSEA Chapter 14 Scholarship

OSEA Chapter 14 offers a scholarship for the children, stepchildren and grandchildren of Oregon School District OSEA members. 

High school senior applicants will be judged on academic success, community service and character.  Senior is not restricted to attend Oregon City High School.  This is NOT a need-based scholarship.  The student will be notified if they are the winner and the funds will be forwarded to the school of their choice.  The winner(s) will be required to attend a future meeting of the association.

This is a $500 scholarship.

Application and supporting materials are due to the OCHS Counseling Office by April 3rd, 2020.

APPLY NOW: COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR OSEA MEMBERS AND FAMILY

As school employees, we know the value of education. That's why our union proudly offers college scholarships to help members and their families pursue college goals. Applications for the following scholarships are available now!

  • The Lou Gerber Scholarship is for members who wish to further their education at an accredited school. Two members per zone can each receive $1,000. Applications are due March 1, 2020.
  • The Guy Davis Scholarship and the Past Presidents' Scholarship are for graduating seniors who are related to OSEA members. The Guy Davis Scholarship awards one student in each zone $1,250; the Past Presidents' Scholarship is a statewide scholarship of $1,500. These scholarships share an application, which is due Jan. 15, 2020.
  • The John Brown Undergraduate Scholarship is for undergraduate students who are related to OSEA members. It is a statewide scholarship for $1,500. Applications are due Jan. 15, 2020.
